CSU Chancellor’s Office highlights Metro as a featured innovation for California community colleges and CSUs
Recently the California State University Chancellor’s Office issued a report on innovative general education programs in California’s community college and university systems. The report summarizes lessons learned from the Give Students a Compass initiative, comprised of fifteen CSUs and 26 California community colleges. Metro was selected as one of five featured innovations because it has “the potential to be scaled to reach most or all students, and to be adapted at other California community colleges and California State Universities.” The report profiles Metro Academies at both SF State and City College of San Francisco.
