Metro Academies receives APLU award
On November 12th, 2013, the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) awarded Metro Academies with the Most Visible Progress National Degree Completion Opportunity Award. This award is provided to APLU member universities that have made exceptional progress on successful retention and completion of a bachelor’s degree, and was accepted by San Francisco State. The award includes a $20,000 prize to be used to advance Metro’s work.
